Recreating in the Big Smoke
Visited family in London at the weekend and took the opportunity to explore the eastern end of the Cycle Touring Club London Sightseer route. It was far more fun and interesting than expected! I came back with loads of great pics. A dusk shot from Canary Wharf looking back at the City

mirador: Sounds a great way to visit the city
don't you know the rules tho you should always pack your lights/torch, hope you at least remembered your emergency choc bar 😀 😀
There certainly is MD! I missed the Navigators - on a bit of a mission at that point to get back before it got too dark (no lights!) I went west from Greenwich along the south bank on Saturday afternoon, returning on the north side through Canary Wharf.
On Sunday morning it was the eastern extremity of the route via the Royal Observatory and around Greenwich Peninsula, taking in the O2 complex.
Lots to see and do around that area Mirador,
There is a great moving bronze sculpture at Canary Wharf, called the Navigators, by British artist David Kemp,
Great skyline 🙂
Lovely pic
