I wonder if we need a forum on "My first hill"?
Hello CJ. My first hill was the Long Mynd, also on a school trip. I still enjoy going back there.
287 Metres. or 941 feet. This is a very significant hill for me because I went on a school trip to Ilam Hall, and this hill was climbed on out first day. Subsequently, I had two separate weeks in the Lake District, and that is what started my lifelong hillwalking.
Hello FG. It's only 287m but steep on all sides so looks higher.
