Not sure what you call it, and the aforementioned footballer's is a bit bigger I think so I've put a picture of it (and my helmet) on the site with a caption "what all the fashionable people are wearing this year!" Hope this is useful.

I felt a bit embarrassed with my sun hat under my helmet,😉 but the wind blow through if you have nothing underneath and I have no hair for warmth, so I got one of those things like David Beckham wears. Not that I want to be associated with him! but by fitting it just back from the helmet rim at the front, it looks as though there is nothing below, but you keep your head warm. Very good! Pretty close. We were in the dolomites, stating in Cortina .. and given my stylish headware ... I would have been climbing!
