Yewbarrow

Yesterday's walk up Yewbarrow was well scary. I got soil in my fingernails from clinging on.. the rocks were very slippy. I got some fantastic photos of Wastwater before the hail / thuderstorm started.

love yewbarrow has a bit of everything

Yewbarrow's on the N shore of Wastwater. This is the view up the SW spur towards Bell Rib. Not a big hill by Wasdale standards (2000') but it does "pack a punch"!

I hope you were dressed for it on this occassion lol it doesn't really look a hard hill to climb but photo can be deceiving <img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' />lol
