They Seek/I Seek

This is an important part of the search.

For dating your gender preferences are more critical than for friendships. Clearly set the "Who Is Seeking A" option to your own gender, and the "I Am Seeking A" option to your preferred sexual preference.

For friendships you will probably click both of the "Either" boxes, unless you sepcifically prefer the company of a particular gender.

Looking for Relationship Type

If you select "Dating" you will pull up all those who have chosen "Dating Only" as well as those that have chosen "Dating OR Friendship" when setting up their profile. To put it another way; the "Friendship Only" profiles will be removed.

Similarly, if you select "Friendship" you will pull up all those who have chosen "Outdoor Friendship Only" as well as those that have selected "Dating OR Friendship" when setting up their profile. To put it another way; the "Dating Only" profiles will be removed.

Choosing "Dating OR Friendship" here will bring up everyone regardless of the profile choice in this selection.

Surrey LDWA 50th-Anniversary Walk, 19/06/2022

As some people may know, 2022 is the 50th-anniversary year of the formation of the LDWA (which I joined in 1976). Blatchford Down and Steers Field (see the adjacent photo) are areas of the North Downs named after the founder members, Alan Blatchford and Chris Steer, who are sadly no longer with us. I was privileged to know them both, and without Alan's influence and encouragement I would probably never have been a runner.
