So on the rapids, do you just sit down on the paddle board and ride it out?

There is a 4 day trip on the Wye.I fancy doing it on an inflatable stand up paddleboard carrying camping gear in dry bags.

I look forward to being the same, working life is not a fun life.
Gower is a really nice area, I also intend to head back at some point, plenty of good pubs, so many places to ride ... so little free time.
I've done a day canoe trip on the Wye in the past, I'd like to have another go at it, perhaps with a tent for a few days ... but who knows when or where!!

35 years ago I used to take troubled teenagers kayaking here.Also on the River Wye.I intend cycle touring this area again.No longer working.Free as a bird.
