In my garden

Japanese maples are one of my favorite trees this cultivar is at it's best in spring, can any one name the cultivar.

gem1000: The full botanic name is Acer Palmatum Deshojo. Hope you find one in a garden center Meg, but this cultivar are not commonly stocked by most garden centers, that said most Bonsai nursery's do.

Gorgeous colour but no idea as to the cultivar.
Garden centres can re-open again soon, Paul, we need to know which one to get 😀

Rich456: Thanks it has a striking image at this time of year,in a few weeks the leaf's will turn green.
Rob, normal Acer Palmatum's are green throughout the growing season, this and some other cultivars of Acer Palmatum start the growing season with red leaf's, and slowly change to green.
