Scafell, Lake District 8th July

Brilliant 12 hour walk in perfect conditions. This is Scafell Crag. Next stop...Scafell Pike....then The Langstrath pub....😋

This brings back so many happy memories,on such days as this one,but also on all fours and unable to see clearly as a layer of frost covered my specs.Without it would have been the blind leading the blind.Capture the moments as we never know when they will end🙂

Paul, Yes, the WWT is just at the bottom of this photo. Will email you a lower shot looking steeply down.🤔

Almost...on top of England, except its near neighbour, Scafell pike...is a slightly higher!
We had a great day....and the pint at the pub...was worth it. We are all...slightly mad, doing these things...but, you know that, already.🤔
