Looking back to Fairfield from Deepdale
Deepdale is largely unchartered territory, by the looks of the sheep tracks and old miners paths, largely overgrown.

Pebbles(Bea): I did put a walk on up Deepdale last year, just myself and Top spot John, but due to me having a bad ankle we didn't get up Fairfield, but it's on my to do list again Bea.
Yes Paul. Off Cofa Pike and right turn at the small cairn.....which is very steep!
Difficult to pick any kind of path at the bottom, until well down the valley.
Looks like few people trod around this valley, but I am so glad I did...peace and quiet.
Pebbles(Bea): It's one of my favorite valleys in the lakes, rugged and wild with very few people around.
David ,did you descend from Deepdale Hause ?
Bea, Kip is grounded now, for a few days. She is fit enough, but two big walks in three days is enough for her little feet
We will see what the weekend brings.
