Ruth: The camera is a Panasonic Lumix FZ45 with a x24 zoom lens so you can get detailed shots without the risk of disturbing them. Somehow the camera manages to give sharp images even when hand-held. I don't know how because I'm sure my hands can't be that steady.

TMiW: They strut around as if they have already conquered the place! The impression of co-operation is entirely deceptive; the males actually spend ages squaring up to each other. The ritual works most of the time but occasionally a real fight breaks out.
