Drygarn Fawr
Looking north east you can see why this area is sometimes referred to as the desert of Wales, it is devoid of human habitation. Definitely the place to go if you want to get away from it all. It is rich in prehistory, with settlements, burial cysts,and white quartz standing stones that glisten in the sunlight.

Definitely "out there", though sadly the tide of wind turbines becomes only too evident from many parts of Elan
