Search Profiles

They Seek/I Seek

This is an important part of the search.

For dating your gender preferences are more critical than for friendships. Clearly set the "Who Is Seeking A" option to your own gender, and the "I Am Seeking A" option to your preferred sexual preference.

For friendships you will probably click both of the "Either" boxes, unless you sepcifically prefer the company of a particular gender.

Looking for Relationship Type

If you select "Dating" you will pull up all those who have chosen "Dating Only" as well as those that have chosen "Dating OR Friendship" when setting up their profile. To put it another way; the "Friendship Only" profiles will be removed.

Similarly, if you select "Friendship" you will pull up all those who have chosen "Outdoor Friendship Only" as well as those that have selected "Dating OR Friendship" when setting up their profile. To put it another way; the "Dating Only" profiles will be removed.

Choosing "Dating OR Friendship" here will bring up everyone regardless of the profile choice in this selection.

when I was a lad, we didn't have steps! On this section when the WHW first opened, the path was just above the loch, and at one point there were chains to hang on to. I allowed one to say to walkers coming the other way and asking what the path was like; "Just hang onto the chains as you go over the water!" Sadly, like Kinder Scout they make it easier and take the fun out of it.😀☹
