They Seek/I Seek

This is an important part of the search.

For dating your gender preferences are more critical than for friendships. Clearly set the "Who Is Seeking A" option to your own gender, and the "I Am Seeking A" option to your preferred sexual preference.

For friendships you will probably click both of the "Either" boxes, unless you sepcifically prefer the company of a particular gender.

Looking for Relationship Type

If you select "Dating" you will pull up all those who have chosen "Dating Only" as well as those that have chosen "Dating OR Friendship" when setting up their profile. To put it another way; the "Friendship Only" profiles will be removed.

Similarly, if you select "Friendship" you will pull up all those who have chosen "Outdoor Friendship Only" as well as those that have selected "Dating OR Friendship" when setting up their profile. To put it another way; the "Dating Only" profiles will be removed.

Choosing "Dating OR Friendship" here will bring up everyone regardless of the profile choice in this selection.

Thanks Catherine. You're not the most troublesome fell walker by the way. I met plenty on this track who shouldn't have been let out; one couple in particular, equipped with a map and a small bottle of juice. The conversation went something like this:

Man: "Can we go all the way round?"
Me: "What do you mean by 'All the way round'?"
Man: "Well, when we get to the top of this one we want to go across to the Old Man."
Me: "You're just a few feet from the top of the Old Man."
Man: "Oh!"
