Colin, neither was mine an OD trip!
I agree MM, when I did Curved Ridge in August I was concentrating so much that I forgot to look down and see the drop! (good excuse to do it again). I don't have a height problem, but I have chickened out of a few climb which I thought were unwise for me in those conditions. (Only grade 3 though). I would put pics on here, but it wasn't and OD trip.
I realise that some people are afraid of heights, but it really isn't a problem for me, and anyway you are really concentrating on making the moves so focused on the wall in front of you and not staring around at what's below you - at least until you get to the top.
Thanks. I would have bolted as well if my guide had taken me here!
It was a sport route - already bolted.
Ha ha - I'm not that crazy to go soloing! The belayer is in the middle of the trees, he lead and I seconded, then the one taking the picture went up.
What protection did you have? I can't see anyone else there, were you top roping?
The geology is interesting too, lots of ammonites and layers of cherts amongst the limestone.
Oh I'm feeling ill!!! :~:~
You certainly are a woman and a half! 😀
