aaahh It's Bambi! A roe deer ran leapt across the path when I was running in my local park recently. Only yards from my home too!

Fallow have prominent black markings on and around the tail, this looks more like a Roe as they don't have a visible tail. All young are spotted.

Hello Ruth. It was on the hill just behind. I have had Roe deer in the garden before; this one is, I think, a young fallow deer.
