Yes Sunday Vee. Was raining when we set off but by the time we got to the end of the lake it had cleared. Although I know some people who live nearby had hail stones on Sunday too!

Parked at Bowness, crossed the ford at the end of the lake and then up past Pillar Rock (good scramble) then over to Steeple and back down to the lake end by Deep Gill and back to Bowness and then to the Fox and Hounds for food (very nice, community owned put now). We were out for hours, because we keep stopping to take in the great views and drink coffee and eat lunch at the top, so never any timing involved with us!<img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' />

Rain and cloud down south<img src='theme/emoticon_unhappy.png' /> and all I keep seeing are lovely sunny pictures from the lakes. Send some of that sun down south please. Needed for next weekend.
