Hi, I once had a similar experience in the Beara Penninsula in the SW of Ireland. I was at some standing stones, there were storm clouds all around, then a small break in the clouds lit up the stones. This was in the pre-digital era, so I'm firing off shots then my film ran out. So, there I was frantically fitting a new film. I did manage to get some good shots before the sun dissapeared. The best print is now up on my wall in my living room.

Thanks John, the light on Helm Crag was a gift as the weather rolled in down the valley from Keswick way. A couple of minutes later it was dark and raining!

That's a really great shot, great composition and the contrast between the foreground and background is stunning.
