Sunny Speyside: I remembered this view from when i walked from Sgor an Lochan Uaine to Braeriaich. Yes we did the north east ridge, no difficulties on the ridge, mostly a large jumble of granite boulders, until near the top where it steepens , with a short section of about grade 2 scrambling.

Helvellyn40: I wasn’t actually on Braeriach this time, just on the Corrie rim near to the Falls of Dee, we wandered across the plateau from Auchlean. On viewing the NE ridge from here though, it is probably going to make it onto my ‘to do’ list. Is it a route you have done yourself any difficulties with the scramble?
