Glorious! A real harbinger of spring.

Sunny Speyside: It's hard to believe but the first one flowered on 23 January. It's a sloping south facing garden so it gets the best of any warmth going. They began flowering in profusion perhaps 2 weeks ago and will be good for perhaps another 2. The grass overtakes them and, after flowering, the above ground part of the plant dies and by June you would not know they had been there.

What a cheery spring carpet, I have only ever seen celandine growing wild in small clumps before, how long will bloom for?
