This was a quick Wainwright bagging jaunt. Treating Hartsop Above How as the objective, rather than being on the way to or from somewhere else makes it a pleasant walk. The views are great and we were treated to rainbows, shafts of sunlight brightening individual fells and moody clouds. Weather higher up was horrible, the crags looked greasy and we had no inclination to go any further.
TrotOn: The last time i did that ridge i was with John, but the cloud was covering the ridge, and it does go on forever, and well done to Mark.
M1960: Absolutely great answer!
It's obvious once you have pointed out where John is.
Tina, sounds like you weren't expecting that so soon 😎
Personally, that ridge goes on forever!
Correct!
How did you get that?
On Hartsop above How - with Dove Crag, Hart Crag and Fairfield behind?
That could be somewhere in Scotland, other than that i don't know, but i know a man who does.
