H40: 3 years ago..do you remember this site?
Our leader said it wasn't going to rain and extended the lunch stop!
Is there any impending danger which the leader may have overlooked?
Route was that odd Wainwright to Fairfield

TrotOn: That's his name, both our memories are going, i think it was unmanageable that told us about Geoff, as we raced of down hill, trying to out race the rain, which we didn't, i do remember clearly that it was more like a wall of water coming down, and drenched we all got, another great day in the hills.
Geoff had straight hair pointing skywards.

I remember it well, and as leader i made a critical error in allowing Stephen to finish his lunch. I don't remember saying it wasn't going to rain, but what i do remember, when the thunder and lightning started was Stephen saying the lighting wasn't discharging to the ground, then the other guy( forgot his name) was nearly turned to toast as he got to close to a wire fence and got a shock. I suppose the moral has to be don't let Stephen finish his lunch when there is a storm approaching.
