M1960: haha and well sometimes, in fact most times, Iโm in it for the experience not the detail. That rainbow was lovely like, as was the chat and laughter, the scenery and the People. I could list everybody that was there from memory and relay stories of some of the Funny things That happened etc . Different brains, different interests eh? Take care ๐
Gatepostgazer: ๐Yes, I agree.
Dale: It isn't like you not to know where you were!๐ฎ๐๐
M1960: Libanus, Brecon Beacons, exactly right and I have it on very good local knowledge from Tracy no e who led the walk. All I knew is that I was in Wales and had to ask Tracy to help me out ๐๐
Somewhere near YHA Brecon Beacons / Libanus? (I'm not sure if that would be classed as the other side to the Black Mountains.)
top_spot (john): Well, getting warmer. It is South Wales but the other side to the Black Mountains
TrotOn: Maybe John has the correct answer, i wonder how long Dale will keep us wondering.
Black mountains?
I'm beaten...๐ค
Dale: Can't win em all, but i did think it was too wooded for Wharfedale.
Helvellyn40: no sorry
I'll have a go with Wharfedale
TrotOn: quite right, not local to you or I
Gatepostgazer: Miss T: Good tries but no. This is the only one Iโve got left now so Iโll keep it going for a bit. Itโs definitely on an OD walk last year
I'm stuck on this one...thanks for help on vegetation GPG...you are correct.
If it ends up on my doorstep in Teesdale...I'll prepare to eat my hat!
Surely it's not local to me.
I know! Itโs somewhere over the rainbow!๐๐
Neither of you close
There's a crop in the foreground and trees so I'll come away from Swaledale and suggest it's Swainby way or over towards Battersby?
