Helvellyn40: Not a route I would want to go up and I've no plan to go down it again either. It was June so there were plenty of snow patches higher up.
top_spot (john): That route looks very steep from below, but never been up or down.
You may have seen another long lasting snow patch in Scotland from the col between the Aonachs, it lies lower down the east side of the col, below the north face of Aonach Beag.
Helvellyn40: I had come down from the col between the Aonachs. A real knee cruncher on very steep grass. The meadow was welcome relief.
top_spot (john): A great location, but rather wet under foot when i'v been that way.
