Helvellyn40: I wouldn't have got it without the clue. I haven't been that way but it looks like a good route. I don't think I would try it in winter though.

top_spot (john): I thought you would get it with that clue.
Not many people go this way to the summit, and the soft loose snow on this day made the ascent slow.

This is an unusual way up this iconic Munro, and as Troton would say only nutters like myself, and friend Dick in the photo would do such things.
We set out from the carpark at the end of the road in Glen Nevis, for this day.
