Yes I live near Seaham. A lovely coast these days.

You’re welcome Bal. I spent a week up on the East coast last Summer...Seaham area (during a very hot spell) & visited a few beaches specifically to collect sea glass. I found some beautiful pieces, including some glass & ceramic bottle stoppers! I plan to go back again one day 🙂

Yeah I thought she might have got it. I went on many family holidays as a child to Anglesey, and Cemaes Bay and Benllech were our favourite beaches. Couldn’t remember the sea glass though-always associate that with our beaches up here in the North East.In fact I collected a bag of ‘ mermaids tear’s’ on Hawthorn Beach on Tuesday. Thanks for the photo’s brought back happy memories.

These bells are located in various places around the country & although some are fairly unattractive, I think the one at Cemaes Bay looks great in the beach, especially at sunset. I’ll post a photo.🙂

Well yes as Dale says I think it is a Time and Tide Bell-I would have guessed at Cemaes Bay but the sea glass threw me.

Time and Tide will tell ??
