Yes be good to talk sheep and dogs sometime. My dog is a rescue dog with I believe a fair bit of Lakeland in it. It is 9 now and like yours is slowing down a bit.

Bal: Hi and I look forward to speaking at a future walk. I do love sheep and you chose the best to photograph. My dog is nothing flash, she's a working Border Terrier, getting a little older at 10 now, but we have had a strong bond since she arrived as a puppy.
She's been up most of the peaks in the Lakes but we take things a little easier nowadays. She will be there this Sunday and is looking forward to her dinner with OD friends too!
Keep your interesting photos coming.

Hi TrotOn-thanks for identifying the Swaledale. Thought it looked different but wasn’t sure what it was. They were very interested in what we were doing. Certainly have a lot of character. I may have got this wrong but did I hear that you had a Lakeland terrier ?

Herdwicks, a lovely tough character sheep, with Norse origins. The middle is the Swaledale, two tough sheep breeds with the ability to thrive at any altitude in the Lakes.
My two favourite sheep breeds 🙂
