I remember looking at it in the summer of 1995 and deciding to give it a miss, having just struggled up Skew Gill and finding that quite difficult enough 😮. I also looked at Broad Stand that day, from both the bottom and the top, and decided there was no way I was doing that either!

I'am thinking of doing this gully next Monday,although there maybe a lot more soft snow now. Was the other chock stone buried in snow,i remember once having to squeeze under it as i didn't fancy climbing the rocks over it.
M1960 it is Cust's gully.
