Eeehhhh that Stephen, leading you and Kip into mischief

TrotOn 08/01/2018 17:34

LOL 🤔
Lord's Rake was just steep, with no exposure, I was fine until we turned left onto West Wall Traverse...I was told "don't look left"...I did 🤔
very steep and slippery coming out onto Sca Fell.
As Stephen planned....it was fine for the dog to come along...she couldn't move forwards on the Rake 🤔

Dale 08/01/2018 17:28

And my! Haven%u2019t you come on since we first joined. Doing Lord%u2019s Rake eh?

Dale 08/01/2018 17:27

Aha, something wrong with my spacial awareness. No wonder I couldn%u2019t see it!! I%u2019ll have you know I did 12ish miles on the night time walk on Saturday and 12ish miles on Sunday. Somewhere in the white peak area but given my spacial awareness situation, I really couldn%u2019t tell you where

Lord's Rake is the other side of the Col. Did that and The West Wall Traverse to Scafell a few months back.
It's a different angle...Broad Crag on right.
You need to dance and trash caravans less and get your walking boots on more often...Dale 😀:

Ha.. chock stone

Dale 08/01/2018 16:35

Make out !!

Dale 08/01/2018 16:35

Trying to make it Lord%u2019s Rake but not sure which gully to the right of the pike it is. Maybe too far away to see it. I last did that route 2008 long before the chick stone fell

Dale: Scafell left and Scafell Pike centre. Agree, the Lakes crew were keen to walk as the weather was brilliant.🙂

Dale 08/01/2018 13:52

Great day to be out wasn%u2019t it, never seen Scafell from this angle before

TrotOn 08/01/2018 09:40

H40:CathyandDavid did. Weather was perfect. Good grip except top of The Band. Kept spikes in bag.🙂
