CMD Arete, Ben Nevis

What a great way to do my first summit of Ben Nevis.
Lovely group plus we picked up a great chap to do the Arete together.Douglas would not have done the Arete without OD members today.

iansmyname......orisitjohn?: I have also done Suilven this year and would thoroughly recommend you get them done. The Arete, for me, was a highlight...as I just decided to go for it, having been a wimp on exposure before. With the great relaxed group I was with, the risks were at a minimum....and I loved the experience with them.
Gi😋ve me a shout...I could join you to repeat these two.

M3: Thanks, we have all had a great time and two of us completed a couple of Glen Coe Munros the next day. We had an ale supper at The Clachaig Inn, which if you do visit in future, is full of likeminded outdoor people.
I would love to do this arete again, but I have no experience of walking anything high in Wales.

M3 , you wouldn't have a problem with the CMD arete..
