Bea: Sod the grammar!

It's not your primary language?

You describe yourself well and contribute on the site just as good. Don't change!

I gained the lowest grade possible in French O level.🤔

Bea: You could go sick for a day.....just don't post photos on FB or here!

Keep dreaming....but leave those Nokian winter tyres on.

🙂

Scotland was the place to be when we were both up in separate groups last weekend.
I left axe and crampons in the car yesterday...was OK for me going up Doddick and down Blease, but I wouldn't have made it up Gategill with microspikes in my bag!
Kate and I did that route early February and with a little snow and ice on the final ascent, we both had a boot slip a couple of times!
Nobody had been over the top cornice there, for a few days. 🤔

TrotOn: David it looks like the snow may linger a few days more in the lakes, and Helvellyn looks to have a good covering, just seen a photo on Lake district weatherline.

Helvellyn40: Paul, yes, I gained confidence last weekend and enjoyed it all.
Nipped to Threlkeld early. Weather better over west. Northern fells almost clear at the start and totally clear when I was on top. Good choice as Helvellyn was in cloud. Plenty of soft snow on the ridge.

TrotOn: David it looks like your hooked on snowy mountains now after your winter skills course.
Looks like you where lucky with the weather rain most of the day here.

M3: Thanks, Kip is fine and now soundly asleep at home in her bed. She loves being on the mountains 🙂
