Llyn y Fan Fach, Carmarthenshire, 9 miles
Fri 13th Sep 2019
A bit short notice, but Llyn y Fan is a regular walk of mine on the western side of the Beacons National Park. A walk to the top of Fan Brycheiniog (802M), via the first lake (Llyn y Fan Fach) that gives fantastic views.
From the top the route drops down to the second lake (Llyn y Fan Fawr), with the option of visiting the crash site of an old Vampire jet and back along Fan Hir, a ridge with stunning views
Very steep at times, boggy in places, sturdy/waterproof footwear required. Meeting point and time to be added. Unable to add photo at the moment for some reason but will try again
