Hi I would have loved to do this but I will be away for the first couple of weeks in January. Hopefully there will be more to come come Paul.

Jenny wren   on 27/11/18 @ 18:09 said:

Hi Paul, yes I hope so too, I%u2019ll see how I get on with this walk. We could do with a few more walks this neck of the woods.

Hi Teresa. Sorry to say I don't think I can make it, but I've done a similar route quite a few times. It's a great area for walks. Definetly be looking out for more of your invites and possibly putting an invite or 2 myself in the area overwinter .

iansmyname.....orisitjohn?   on 27/11/18 @ 19:11 said:

Sorry should have added on previous message. Good luck with your first invite. Have a great day

Hi Ian/John- not sure which one it was, thanks for that, hope the weather is better than when I did the Reccie,fog.....

Jenny wren: Definetly prefer Ian with friends

taz  on 17/12/18 @ 10:09 said:

sounds like fun and somewhere i've not walked around before so if you'll allow me and my dog to join in i'd very much appreciate it

Jenny wren   on 17/12/18 @ 17:34 said:

taz: It will be great if you and your dog can come along. It is sheep grazing country, so your four legged friend would need to be on lead/under control. Hope that%u2019s ok.

Tinks   on 17/12/18 @ 21:45 said:

Sorry I am unable to make this walk but hope to make it another time....

Jenny wren   on 30/12/18 @ 17:12 said:

Hi snow bunting, you will be fine,there%u2019s a couple of steepish ascents early on then just a steady climb to the mynd summit- all downhill after look forward to seeing you

Lizy   on 02/01/19 @ 11:13 said:

I would like to come along but a little nervous as it will be my first walk with this organisation,

landranger68   on 02/01/19 @ 12:06 said:

Sorry, but injured my Knee slipping down Mam Tor yesterday, pity as it is a lovely walk

Jenny wren   on 02/01/19 @ 17:00 said:

Land ranger: sorry to hear you%u2019ve hurt your knee, I%u2019ll see how this walk goes (my first one) then hopefully visit the area again and catch up then.

Jenny wren   on 02/01/19 @ 17:07 said:

Lizy: If you have a base level of fitness you will be fine. I don%u2019t know any of the other walkers coming along as I%u2019ve only recently joined the site, so I don%u2019t know anyone%u2019s fitness etc, will be a learning curve for me too.The ascent is before lunch and we will have a short coffee stop before then, if progress is slow I have alternate routes to get us down. If you have done a few walks in the last couple of months you should be fine. Hope that was helpful?

A great walk and met lovely people.
Thanks for the walk.
How do I join the Facebook page for this site?

Jenny wren   on 07/01/19 @ 6:57 said:

Glad to hear you enjoyed the walk, it was a good turn out with lots of like minded and interesting people to chat to. I%u2019m not the one to ask about the face book page as I don%u2019t do Facebook but %u2018head for the hills%u2019 does, so she may be able to help.

Lizy   on 13/01/19 @ 19:24 said:
