I’ve recently moved to the area and would love to explore some of the local woods and green spaces. It sounds like an easy, relaxed circular walk and thought I’d see if anyone fancies joining at 11am?

About Howell Wood Country Park:
Howell Wood is a historic woodland and country park open all year, dating back hundreds of years. It’s wooded with mature trees and a network of paths that make it great for a gentle walk and some fresh air. Parking is available at the country park off Burnt Wood Lane (S72 9EZ).

What to expect on the walk:
🌲 Peaceful woodland trails under mature tree cover.
🐦 Plenty of birdlife and peaceful spots to pause and enjoy the surroundings.
🌼 Benches dotted around for a rest or a chat.
🚶‍♂️ Trails vary from easy paths to some gentle slopes

🚗 Free parking available on site
🐾 Dog Friendly
🥾 Suitable footwear (can be a bit muddy according to reviews)
⏱️ Walk time 11am: ~1 hour (maybe a bit more with chat stops)
