Wetherlam and Coniston Old Man, Lake District
This is the second of our mainly Outdoor Duo WhatsApp group invitations, the other being Pen-y-ghent. The group promotes friendships through walking in the Lakes and Dales. We also want to keep the invitations going on Outdoor Duo.
This walk is 10.5 miles and 3500 feet. It is a full day mountain walk starting at 10 am. Anyone interested in going on this walk and would like more information e.g. details about the starting place please ask here on the invite or message me.

I've been told it was a great walk. Hopefully a few more people from Outdoor Duo will go on a similar walk another time.
going4gold: Hi Mary, Dave says there are a couple of options if the weather is bad. One to Tarn Hows and Monk Coniston. The other to Tilberthwaite and round /above Coniston Copper Mines.
going4gold: I'll ask Dave, Mary. At the moment it's just Dave, Karl and possibly Bruce going on the walk.
Any alternative plan if you weather is unsuitable for submitting Coniston
