11 and 12th October 2025 Coniston Cumbria
I am planning on being in Coniston on the above weekend for a couple of days walking.
Plans fluid at present and will depend on weather etc.
Hopefully one walk will be the Old Man circuit, the other possibly Wetherlam.
For anyone wishing to stop over there is also a live gig at the Coniston Institute on Saturday evening, sold out but likely that there will be some tickets become available.

landranger68: also the rimes when I first put on the Remembrance weekend for OD and had a turn out of over 40 keen walkers.
When you are next up un the lakes give me some notice.

I have just arrived in Coniston with a great forecast.
As I drove past the turn off for Little Langdale I thought of you and the times you based yourself there for a week.
trekkie: Hi Len.I remember well our Coniston meeting 2011.What a Weekend,Monsoon conditions.taking shelter in any space where a Body could fit.Then Wet on the inside under the canopy attached to your Caravan.The memories still linger.I have just returned from the South Downs Way,Just unable to join you, The Weather will certainly be better,
