This is a 12 mile circular walk from Threshfield near Grassington N Yorkshire
The walk starts on Skirethorns lane where there is road side parking if needed. We walk up hill for 1.5 miles towards Malham tarn returning via Mastilles lane back down for a lunch stop at Kilnsey crags and then crossing the valley to climb back up out of Coniston to reach the Dalesway and follow that back through Grassington
Accommodation at Wood Nook campsite for camper vans and camping , Kettlewell hostel and Choice of B and B s in Grassington . Linked to cycle invite the following day but a breakaway group could walk instead of cycle if wished

going4gold: Hi Mary - thanks again for organising a lovely walk today. It was so nice to visit the southern dales. The scramble up Coniston dib was delightful - great views and great company.
