I am cancelling this walk because of lack of interest. Juliet and myself will join John's Castleton walk on the Sunday - looking forward to catching up/meeting everyone.
This walk is to go with John's on Sunday if people are travelling further and want to stay for the weekend. Meet at 10am at the Surprise View car park, on the A6187 between Fox House and Hathersage, grid reference SK 25156 80079.

From the car park we will head to Higger Tor via Over Owler Tor. From there we will head to the trig point at Stanage Edge, before heading back to Burbage. We will then walk down Burbage valley, cross the road to Longshaw and into Padley Gorge and Lawrencefield Quarry, then back to the carpark.

Distance: 13km/8miles
Ascent: 385m/1,260ft
