I am going to be cycling the Outer Hebridean Way next year (around Apr 25-1 May) with a friend and wondered if anyone else would like to join us – a handful of people would be ideal as the guest house capacity there is quite small.
This trip travels through 10 beautiful islands covering a distance of 185 miles along the chain of the Outer Hebrides in the wild Atlantic waters on the edge of Europe. On this adventure you will find unspoiled wild scenery with thousands of years of history. There are stunning white sandy beaches, rocky mountains and wild glens.
We will take 5 days to cover the distance of 185 miles covering 10 islands, 6 causeways and 2 ferry crossings (averaging 37 miles day). This will be taken at a fairly leisurely pace allowing time for stops and exploring along the way.
The overall cost of this trip including flights, train fares, ferries, 6 nights b&b, bike hire and transfer works out at approx £550. If there is any interest then I will put it up as an event.

This sounds amazing Jo. I’m really tempted but not quite sure if I can push my luck and have this week off with it being so close to Easter and the May bank holiday!! 🤔
GlGlyn2I think this sounds great Jo and although I hate hills on a bike perhaps I could make an exception and practice a bit. I would love yo do this trip 😀
