Well it was a tremendous walk with some great walks and lovely views with great company. I thoroughly enjoyed it and still relive parts of it. Thanks Minty for organising it, with all those minor hiccups! 😋 Hadn't realised it was 4 years ago already. It was a true adventure. Must meet up sometime, Minty 🙂

Hi Minty,There are many memorable experiences shared, not just Hadrian's Wall. That is what is at the core of OD,a coming together from different backgrounds, ages and outlook. We share a common bond of fellowship whether up to our arm pits in bog, listening to the endless sonnets of Lal Jonty or snorkelling our way up Gardale Scar, but there will be always copious amounts of wine and laughter🙂

Once Upon a Time on Hadrian's Wall many years there was a group of about 14 looking forward to the adventure of a lifetime.walking Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland.all all's well.centurion minty had all things in hand.well until we stayed at this Villa run by colonel of the 9th Legion he was a nice old goat.a lovely meal on the massive big table with silver cutlery and a lovely meal.it was a lovely June clear skies but up particular night it was rather cold.my fellow Band of Brothers.and sisters.had other in the morning there was I having a nice cold wet shave.the colonel approached me and said to me you're a bunch of Hardy individuals decided to violate my
bunkhouse.I said to him really we

on 12/07/17 @ 22:41

continued they said they were cold in their tents so they decided to enter the bunkhouse.well I apologize for their actions.so we're going on a walking enjoying the scenic air of Northumbria.we arrive at our campsite.one of the helpers who erected tents at each other campsites.he said to me oh by the way some blankets went missing from the bunkhouse.I said I'll have an investigation and find out what went on.did find one of the blankets.and then found another one later on which was passed on to somebody bunch of bloody wimps it wasn't that cold in evening.after a long discussion with the firm used managed to.save some of us from being hung drawn and quartered.so we carried on our little way.

on 12/07/17 @ 22:50

.our sense of humour it was somewhat lacking.so we arrived at another campsite decided to have a barbecue and a fire.some little Legionnaire decided to get his knife out as started cutting down some trees did not go down well with landowner.I sorted that one out.anyway we carried on a merry way enjoying the Northumberland Hadrian's Wall.taking.memory then we were accused stealing a axe.well that is how all
happened are escapade on Hadrian's Wall

on 12/07/17 @ 23:03

so if you come across some shifty individuals.holding a blanket Starry Eyed.or a
axe and I start to jibber is how likely it is part of the team.to this day we are wanted by the Hadrian's Wall police.for being Pirates.for all of us it was a life-changing experience.where a group of strangers become friends.and I still have a smile on my face.with escapades we got up to on Hadrian's Wall.for me it's a personal thing the love of History reading about Hadrian's Wall as a young boy.and I was so lucky to walk it with such brilliant people.which made it so rich and
vibrant .keep smiling my fellow Legionnaire's.HaHaHa

on 13/07/17 @ 4:26

who's turn is it next hold the sacred blanket.you bunch of pirates.HaHaHa
