Good idea, like the thought of going west for activities

davem 28/04/2012 18:54

Hi Peggy.

camping is normally about £13 a night.

The activities vary depending on what you fancy doing. hiking is obviously free and I can hopefully borrow a few kayaks from my club so that would be free as well... going upto about £70 for whitewater rafting.

I'm going to put the trip on the invites page and firm things up from there over the next few days

There is a good camp site at Bala.Tha Arran hills would be a good warming up exercise for whatwver the main event would be as they are only just over 3000ft.deon`t do metres as it se3ems to make the hills smaller

TC 26/04/2012 06:49

Sounds like a great plan - would love to join you.... but I can't.

davem 25/04/2012 21:23

well, it is in baaa la.

And everyone likes a bit of rambaling

Mountain Sloth 25/04/2012 21:11

Hmmmm... Dave, I'm not so sure about some of these activities. I have just taken a look at
www.bala-snowdonia.co.uk
and they list one local attraction as being "Ewe-phoria".

Now I don't care what the locals get up to in their spare time, but getting tourists in to do that does to me sound wrong and unhygienic!

milvus 25/04/2012 20:43

No these activities seem just fine thanks

davem 25/04/2012 20:40

Ha ha.... open to alternatives to the list mate !!!!

milvus 25/04/2012 20:22

What sort of mixed activity are we talking here Pal? Yes would be up for all of the above. The dates should be OK too.
