Thank you to all our walk leaders
I just like to say, thank you to all our lovely people, who have put on invites on here, in the past and now + in the future.
It's not easy to get in invited organised, it entails a lot of work, to organise.Route planning, sometimes a recce, certainly some hours to finalise " things"
I have been on this site for 11 years and I am so blessed to have met so many genuine, caring funny peeps on our walks on here and a few of them, are my friends for life.
I hope we see some more invites on here soon. It's up to you(us) to make it more interesting and fun.
I am not in the position at the moment to travel far from home, but I hope most of you, are able to join in, on some adventures.
Thank you, Stephen, HW 40 ( Paul), AndyM, Flatcap Mike, John H and all the others, here on the site, who are trying to get us all out....out there. Especially in these "dark" times.

Hi, certainly, some people made a big song and dance about leaving the site and that the site was on its last legs. It's funny, if people say the same thing often enough we end up believing them. Just look at why adverts repeat so often.
Anyhoo, as we get into spring I'm sure that the invitations will pick up.

Thank you for writing this post Bee, I am someone who will happily hike on my own, but I love getting out with people and I think it is so awesome that people take the time to lead hikes to enable this. I'm excited to get back out and to see some of the lovely people I met on my first walk and to meet more.
I hope the site picks up and I am planning to make the effort to support that by being active here.

Thanks Bea, let's hope as the days get longer and the weather improves we'll have lots more invites going out.
And like you, I've made lots of friends through these outings, and good friends are something that you can't get enough of.
