I'm so sorry to have to tell everyone that Steve has passed away.
He was a wonderful friend, caring and positive to the end. We enjoyed some lovely walks including the Three Peaks last year. He was so happy to be able to complete them all despite his cancer diagnosis and he also continued to enjoy bike rides when the weather was better.
Steve loved his family and pets. He talked a lot about his daughter, Hannah and was clearly very proud of her. His dog, Max and cat, Tiger are now with Hannah.
I'll miss Steve a lot but I know there'll also be others on Outdoor Duo with happy memories of him.

So very sad news .. 🥺😔
I never met him in person, but loved seeing his invites in my area , coming up during the last year
They looked very interesting and gave a new spin to old walking grounds...
Its a bit of a shock ...as he looked so healthy on this pictures. ...
Way to early ....to young to leave these earthy walking grounds
My thoughts are with his dear family and friends x

OMG !!! How tragic, I’m so shocked !!! So so sad!!! He was so lovely!! Didn’t make his last few walks but loved the ones I did before. Such terrible news, thanks Kath for letting me know 🥲🥲

That's very sad news, Steve was a really great guy, always positive always friendly. And, even during his final illness he remained positive and still got out walking and cycling.
He will be very sadly missed.
My condolences to his family and friends, John.
