" May be'"s " on invites
Hello Peeps
We all " done it" ...putting ourselves on a walk...as a " may be" and forgot to change it to...one or the other...
I deffo have been caught out like this twice....
As I " just" forgot...
It so easy done, but it would be a great help to / for the walk leader to know, who is actually coming or not 😂🙂🍷😇

If everyone turned up on time this wouldn't be an issue anyway.
SteveRoamingBiker: I agree, don't count on maybes coming. Maybes do get informed of any changes made, as do the Definites, so if you cancel the trip or make meeting place changes people will know. That's why there's no "Delete" button. It's better to cancel by annotating the text accordingly, then those who expressed an interest get an update.
I fully agree with your statement above...
We both know how easy it is to forget to update the walking status ....and like you I wouldn't expect anyone waiting for me...if I was put down as a maybe.
We all know how much goes into planning and leading a walk. It is quite a commitment from the walk leaders....and I will always appreciate how much they are putting into it....It's the recce s. and the time and effort and petrol money too.

Good point Bea. I'm afraid I am less patient than other walk leaders - I will wait for definites but I won't wait for more than 5 or 10 minutes if there are 'maybes'. Be warned everyone 🤔
In my defence, I know it is easy to say maybe and forget all about it so I don't want to spoil anyone's day by waiting for someone who may not turn up. And I would not expect anyone to wait for me if I had put myself down as a maybe!
