I still have no idea how to differentiate birds by sound. Actually a chicken, pheasant and peacock..... I'm on a roll. Mallard....... Ostrich!

If you have an old iPhone its not possible. Apple didn't trust users to upload stuff to the internet. 😮 Newer iPhones and Android will give you a choice where to look once you click browse e.g. Files, camera and so on.🙂
On a PC you'll need to know where you download the pictures to and use the file browser to find the image you want to upload. On windows try "My Pictures" first.
As for facebook and WhatsApp it depends what system your using. iPhone, Android, Windows etc ☹

Always go to files and not my files I have found.
