Wednesday Wander on Kinder North Edge
A massive thanks to Mitch, Tina, Jo and Dave, a small group but perfectly formed, for not only ignoring the dire weather forecast but also the blatant wrecking tactics of that gang in the People's Front for Wednesday Walks (Spanish Section). Yes, we had some high winds, rain, hail and lots of water underfoot. That's what we've got expensive gear for. But we also had sunshine, lovely views all the way round, some gorgeous rainbows and, in my view anyway, lots of fun.

Changing your site name in the same forum thread Adam? Impressive
Well said, TC
If you have only sunshine you never get to see rainbows 🙂
Juan Chevalier: how boring 😀
I really really enjoyed this thank you Peter. Super walk in inclement conditions and some tasty cake treats from Peter although i seemed to have missed out on the last slice 😀 and Jonathan's jelly baby 5 minute break with which i ended up with the packet and wonderful company yes all in all a great day and that's it for me until next year. 😀
Oh, we had some of that as well (I think). The cote de Kinder is a special place, for a special kind of walker.
Great day out, really bracing. Thanks to Pete and all.
What a fabulous day! Stupendous views, crackin' company,conker-sized sleet, riveting rainbows and beautiful mud.
A superb walk ... huge thanks, Pete, for your organisation and excellent cake.
Loved it all... J 🙂🙂🙂
It was a cracking day out, with lovely people and rather special cake. Thank you for showing me the dark side of Kinder and arranging the light show. Not so keen on the hail and rain but it was just showers and in between we got fabulous views.
