Lalkes Adventure!!! Next Friday 11th August...
Just wondering who was around next Friday in Ambleside.
Eight people are down to sail with Bionic Chris at 12.30 pm (see his "Vikings!" invitation for 11th August...)
A few of us are arriving in the area on Thursday and early Friday and are meeting for coffee at Ambleside YHA at 10.30 am. Please join us if you are about!
If you're arriving later in the day on Friday, please could you let us know on this thread, so that we can socialise!

Hiya, I am up from Thursday and bringing a friend on her 1st OD event...it is her birthday on the Friday (as well as Janhk's?), so a few of us are off on an alternative sail and we have space for 3 more if a few of you fancy joining us? We will be setting off soon after noon from Ambleside. Please do let me know if you could reach Ambleside in time and would like to join us after coffee with CD (in Viking attire too if possible!)

Travelling up Thurs to friends near Penrith so may well be at the YHA for coffee in the morning before being on the boat. Can someone order some better weather though - the forecast is rubbish!
