Secondly if no tool available it is best to suffocate the little devil till it lets go. I found smothering with Vaseline excellent for this but sure something similar would work just as well .🤔

Be very careful how you remove any ticks. Definitely advisable to use the proper tool as on no account should you grip them because this will squeeze their gut contents ditectly into your bloodstream..🤔

I have one of those credit card sized tick removers in my first aid kit. Its really effective and easy to use. To contract Lyme disease the tick needs to go unnoticed for some time, so the sooner its out the better.

womble: I once bought a large tin of fly repellent for use on horses as thought it would also be good for me. Luckily found out it was carsinogenic
And stopped using it even though there was still nearly a litre left. 🤔

They are proving to be a problem,even around the Garden where i staying.Keep covered,especially as the Bracken is very high and almost forms a barrier.A friend almost several years ago.Lyme desiese was diagnosed at a depertment specialising in Tropical desiesees
