A big thank you to Pete for organising yesterday's memorable walk. Wet, wet, wet but great fun!

The wind was wild,
yet still we smiled,
(though I spotted a grimace or two).
The wind it whistled,
our faces gristled,
as we tried to guess who was who
in mist so thick,
in mist so dense,
fingers in front of our nose(s).
The wind and mist,
a formidable team,
but it's part of the highs and lows
of OD walks in weather foul,
and sometimes quite extreme,
and yet we're lucky,
we CAN explore,
we're the cats who have the cream...🙂xJ
