John's Festive Chatsworth Walk

by CD Carpe Diem!

A Very Silly "Poem"...

With Santa hats and jolly smiles
John 'ee led us, for those miles
of cracks and snippets, chor-tles of glee,
he reckoned we numbered - fifty-three
hearty souls, who cel-e-brated
early Christmas, un-a-bated
by the stares of humbug-poopies,
as for Sarah, we bawled, "Whoopies!...
...It's your B-Day, 'ave some fizz,
'ave some choccies!"...and gee whizz,
we gobbled muchas, we gobbled cake,
and Chatsworth grinned (even the Lake)
(Now this rhyme, is gettin' silly,
giddy, daft an' willy-nilly...)
So thanks to John, who led with relish..
(Def no need to fur-ther embellish)
