England coastal path

Hi all one Lizzie and John's walks have finished I am proposing putting on the new England coastal path as a walk. For those who have not heard the first stretch to open is between Ramsgate and Camber 66 miles so 4/5 stages. Who would be interested? Lizzie and John when do you think your walks will finish so as not to clash? Love to all Montie 🙂 x

Hi all it would likely be done in 4 stages - I am considering making one of them over a weekend. What do people think of that?
Still waiting for the map (still not been delivered to my supplier. Once I have it I will be able to look at the start and finish points plus pubs for the end of the walk with food! Cheers for now Montie

AnnieS: I could not agree more !!! 33 miles of anything like the Dorset coastal path on consecutive days is for those a lot fitter than me 🙂

love life: I have now found a map for it and just ordering it - "The Ramblers Guide to the Kent Coast Path Part 1 Camber to Ramsgate". It is available from Kent Ramblers 🙂

Hi all due to a rather busy time atm I will most likely be leaving the first stage until October (which scarily is now not far away - although it feels it with this lovely late summer weather!).

That sounds fun, yep I would be up for that. I can make the last weekend in September. I've missed out on a lot of walks this year so lets get it on.

Hi all and thanks for your interest - having spoken to Liz she is planning on doing the last two stages of the NDW over the weekend of 15th/16th October so I will liaise with JW to avoid conflicting weekends and put the invite out soon. It could be the 2nd half of September or early or late October.
Any requests to avoid certain weekends let me know! Montie 🙂 x
